> Lindokuhle Nkosi and Khanyisile Mbongwa

Lindokuhle Nkosi is a writer whose work often merges with installation and performance. While floating across different genres – journalistic, reflective and experimental – her work is consistently insightful, rich in textures, and engaged with realities. Previous projects include the 100in1day- Unbearable Lightness public intervention and the Sthomb’ Esihle photographic exhibition.

 

Khanyisile Mbongwa is a performing artist and poet from Gugulethu. She is a founding member of the collective, Gugulective, focusing on performance-based practices around re-imagining the psychological and physical spaces of the township using photomontage, video and sound. Joint 2012 MTN New Contemporaries Award-winner, she exhibited and performed in and around Cape Town and Johannesburg, in Berlin, Hamburg and Sri Lanka.
