> Graeme Lees

Graeme Lees is a composer, guitarist and teacher based in Cape Town. He studied composition and performance with Hans Roosenschoon and Noel Stockton, and improvisation with Carlo Mombelli and Marc Duby, briefly, amongst others. Lees has extensive experience in performing in a wide range of venues and productions, and has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Zim Ngqawana and Bhudaza, to Lucas Maree and the Bloemfontein Children’s Choir. His compositions have been shortlisted for ISCM World Music Days as part of New Music South Africa (NMSA).
