Car guards are almost unavoidable in the city. While helping drivers in or out of parking spaces, these often highly educated foreigners nurture nostalgia for their home country by singing church songs and well known home grown hits.
Consisting of four musicians, the Car Guard Quartet will introduce audiences to the most popular songs of their country.

“We will present our culture, how we think and play,” music producer and musician Kalle Kabasele Mutabe explains. “Audiences can discover new musical flavours and groove. We mix Rumba and Salsa and sing in Lingala.”
